About the Brewery....

Located in Conroe, Texas, Southern Star Brewing Company will provide Texans from the Houston area new craft beers to enjoy from our 10,000 square foot warehouse.

Production began in March of 2008 with our signature beer of Pine Belt Pale Ale. And our Grand Opening on April 5th was a GREAT success with 400+ people attending and sampling our brew..

After finding a distributor our 16oz cans are now available in a few stores in the Houston, Austin, Dallas and College Station areas of Texas(and of course Conroe too). Our kegs are also appearing in a variety of pubs and for sale in a few stores in the Houston area. Unfortunately we cannot tell you where you can buy the beer due to Texas Law. But you should start seeing it in some of the larger liquor stores in the Houston area and a few small ones in Conroe.

Pine Belt Pale is just one of the many beers we plan on offering with other test batches being tweaked.

We will be holding Tours of the brewery once a month on Saturday(see the Home page for more information) at 1pm for the summer months.. .
